I-864 Question - Income and Tax Transcript

Hi everyone! I am finalizing the I-864 and I just stumbled upon some questions:

Is this the income tax transcript that they're requesting for or is this different from the Income Tax Transcript? Is this copy okay to bring with me on the day of the interview? Or should I have the one requested from the IRS?

Also, which income should I put? Is it the 56,188 or 58,291? (see picture below)

From the I-864 Instructions:

"Item Numbers 18.a. - 20. Federal Income Tax Return Information You must provide either an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) transcript or a photocopy from your own records of your Federal individual income tax return for the most recent tax year. If you believe additional returns may help you to establish your ability to maintain sufficient income, you may submit transcripts or photocopies of your Federal individual income tax returns for the three most recent years."

However, what you show is 2014 - that is not current. You need to provide a copy of your 2015 tax return. Did you do your taxes this year?

"If you provide a photocopy of your Federal individual income tax returns, you must include a copy of each and every Form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your returns"

Make sure you provide a copy of your W-2 if you choose to provide the copy of your 1040 as you've shown.

"For purposes of this affidavit, the line for Total Income on IRS Forms 1040 and 1040A will be considered when determining income"

So, in your case, that would be the income on line 22 (58.291)
