Guys any of you have different religion with your fiance/ee?

Does religion difference will impact to the visa approval?

Thanks

i would check your embassy's forum.

Sometimes it can be an issue because apparently in certain countries/cultures, if petitioner and beneficiary are of two conflicting religions, it's a red flag for fraud.

anyone get their police cert early? my fiance got hers today and its valid for just 3 months should be enough time

UK Police Certs are good for 1 year.

I believe on the website for ordering the police cert, it should tell you for how long it is valid.

so does the police cert just need to be valid for the interview ? or for traveling to the usa as well ?

As far as I'm aware, just for the interview. It's the CO's job to make sure the visa holder is not a maniac, LOL. Unless they think they're gonna go on a crime spree between the interview and leaving the country!

btw, fiance is done with medical! Took about 1.5 hrs. He had to fill out forms while waiting, so i would recommend going a bit early to get that taken care of. First he had his chest xray, then urine test, then a bit of a wait for the blood test, they did a genital examination (v brief) and offered the vaccinations- he found out he could get the ones he's missing from his GP, so he's going to do that instead of pay at the clinic. obv this differs country to country. he was also able to text me p much the whole time, so that was nice :) they didn't mention any delays or issues whatsoever, so I guess we'll find out in 1 month (interview Nov 17) if everything's good!

FYI:

Once again Knightsbridge is giving out bad advice. Here's the thing, it is always best to get any vaccinations needed either BEFORE Knightsbridge via your GP or DURING Knightsbridge. Not AFTER. Any vaccination received by your fiancé AFTER the medical won't count in the eyes of the USCIS unless it is certified on the official form.

You do not need vaccinations complete to receive a K1 correct, but you need to have them once you AOS. When you apply for AOS, the USCIS will have a medical vaccination form showing you missing vaccinations, and they will go ''hey what gives? this person isn't complete''. They will then send you an RFE requesting either a brand new medical (because they are stupid) or a brand new vaccination supplement. You will then have to go to a US civil surgeon and pay to get your vaccinations all recertified (which is what you just dropped a serious wad of cash on Knightsbridge to do FOR YOU but they wrongly fobbed you off).

If you intend to get these vaccinations by your GP, bring your DS3025 from Knightsbridge showing what you currently have, and any proof from the GP of the new vaccinations - once it is time to file for AOS and complete the vaccination portion of the I-693 form with a US Civil Surgeon of your choice stateside.

So, get your vaxxing done at your medical appointment!!!

Where was this link a month & 1/2 ago? I could have avoided my RFE and joined all those with their NOA 2 long time ago. I guess I will save it for examples after we are married.

What rfe u got?

I didnt fill out the Criminal history bit. I left it blank. I read that bit about armed forces and thought that section had nothing to do with me. I should have read it thoroughly. However I think that criminal history bit should be included with "Information about Petitioner" section.
