My fiancé took her overseas medical examination on 7 June 2016 and expires on 7 December 2016. She is planning on arriving to the states in November 2016. Once she arrives in the states and we get married, we will immediately collect all appropriate documents and submit for the US residency card [Green Card]. By the time that we submit the packet for the Green Card in November 2016, to include her medical examination, her medical documents will have been expired. Will she have to take another physical or as long as the packet was submitted before the expiration date of her physical still be valid?

Aslong as they recieve it before it expires it will be fine... If it's not sent out on time then you can risk it and send the expired 1 some officers let it slide for k1s some will issue a RFE and you will need a whole new medical done

she must have gotten her visa already right why wait till november to come to the states?

not everyone can drop everything within days or weeks and up and move country.. some people have loose ends they need to tie up maybe work maybe sick family members maybe financials they cant do from the other side of the country... There is a reason k1's visa is valid for 6 months to give them a 6 month window to enter the country.. maybe they want to work aslong as possible over there to bring extra money over to conpensate not working for a while

Here is the actual I-693 instructions from the USCIS themselves. Problem is, many USCIS officers do not seem to understand them properly (if at all), and are continuing to send K1's RFE's for a complete new medical when they shouldn't.

The USCIS' own instructions clearly state that K1 visa holders, applying for AOS and having had an overseas medical within one year of the date of FILING that AOS, DO NOT need to have another medical. You can see their own instructions here (bottom of page 6):

https://www.uscis.go.../i-693instr.pdf

"What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical examination overseas?

If you were admitted as a: K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and 3. A. B. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then: You are not required to have another medical examination as long as you file your Form I-485 within one year of an overseas medical examination, and: C. (1) (a) The panel physician did find a class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility, and you have complied with the terms and conditions of the waiver.

Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the Part 7. Vaccination Record completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you must submit Parts 1., 2., 4., and 7. of Form I-693."
