Most likely Weekday during the day. I cannot see them doing an administrative or judicial oath when the offices are closed. But, the best place to get the correct answer is the Boston Field Office.

For anyone who has interviewed at the Boston office and had their oath ceremony, when are they typically done (day or night // weekday or weekend)?

Let's start with oath ceremonies. This is the link for the FY16 oath ceremonies in Massachusetts http://www.mad.uscourts.gov/general/pdf/Nat%20Cerm%20FY-16%20USCIS.pdf

It includes both Boston and Lawrence field office ceremonies. I can tell Lowell Auditorium, Mechanics Hall, and Springfield Courthouse belong to Lawrence office but not sure what else. Most Boston ceremonies are at Faneuil Hall, a few at JFK Library, and once a year they do a massive ceremony (this year it was at Hynes on 6/16). The listed times are when the ceremonies start, take another 1.5-2hours back for the time you need to be there.

For interviews, I was told Boston office do not conduct interviews on Fridays but I did my interview on a Friday. I shared my experience on this here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/591755-n400-interview-was-scheduled-twice/ and once a month they do interviews on Saturdays. So most likely your interview will be on a weekday Monday through Thursday, during business hours. My interview was scheduled for 2:45 pm.

Hope it helps.
