That's good news, looks like a step in the right direction. Idk why I never get through to a tier 2 they never call me back... And the tier 1 always has problems wanting to connect me to a tier 2. I'll try doing that today and try my luck again. Hopefully your petition gets there ASAP your wait has been very long. Good luck! Let us know of any updates

Thanks farzram. Wish you good luck too, your case is not far behind ours.

Thanks farzram. Wish you good luck too, your case is not far behind ours.

So finally got a call back from a tier 2 today- I'm out of the country so they actually spoke to my sister thinking it was me...

Apparently the officer said my case was already sent, but didn't give a specific day. And that its at NVC but they haven't processed it yet so it isn't showing in their system yet and telling me it's not received. OH and thAt processing there can take 90 days...... LOL.

Also was told to "STOP CALLING US." It's at NVC not here. But still didn't give a date as to WHEN it was sent. Very odd. I honestly don't believe it and I guess I give up and all I can do is just wait it out , I'm sending a fax to my senator today also so let's see if anything happens. Wish I atleAst got a time frame.

What do you think? I think they just didn't want me to ask anymore.

Farzram, I'd take the "no call USCIS" as a good thing, sounds to me like the packet is actually gone and they can't do anything else about it. Yes, get your congressman involved and hopefully their office can give you a status update from NVC. The 90 day time frame is the maximum time NVC should take in processing their part. It only involves a security check from the beneficiary's country and this sometimes takes extra time, depending on the country involved.

Your probably right. All I can do is wait now I've tried every option there is at this point. I agree, my fiancée is from Afghanistan so perhaps due to being a high risk/fraud country they are doing additional checks. I hope I get there soon along with all of us still waiting. Thank you!
