Some Time Concerns

I recevie NOA receipt on May 15 and check was cashed around those days as well.

This is for removal of conditions. My concern is it has been 2 months and I have not received anything in the mail like biometrics or RFE I get concerned I might have missed the letter.

I've also type in the receipt number when I call NSC and the answer I get is there is no information available.

Any similar cases?

I had the same thing, sent removal of conditions on 26th of April, noa1 dated 28th of April and no biometrics more than 30 days after the noa1 date so I called uscis and they put in a service request for me. I got the biometrics letter a bit over a week later for the 30th of June

The reference number on the noa1 will not work, you need the reference number of the biometrics to check in the case but even then they aren't good about updating it

What do I do if I somehow overlooked the letter and the appointment passed?

First call and ask to speak to a tier two representative as you have not received the biometrics appointment. The tier two representative will be able to see if you have been sent one and also tell you your other reference number so you can look up your application.

If you have missed it they might let you reschedule it if you let them know didn't receive the appointment letter. If you did receive the letter but just didn't go they can deny your removal of conditions so it is best for you to call as soon as possible

No, it's not normal. The biometrics date is usually about a month after the NOA1 date. Call and talk to a Tier 2.

I called, I didnt speak to tier 2 but the gentleman said California service center is backed up to october 2015 for these cases and also told me nothing has been sent after NOA. Some weight off my shoulders any further advice is appreciated.

I'd talk with Tier 2. Like I said, it's not normal. Tier 1 usually can only see what you already see online and nothing more. It's called the Misinformation Line here on VJ for a reason.

They are always backed up, Vermont usually even more than California, I had to send mine to Vermont and still had biometrics within a month of my NOA1.

Be insistent. At the very least they need to put in a service request, maybe your biometrics letter was never generated in the first place. It needs to be generated. This does not have anything to do with "they are adjudicating I-751s filed in October 2015", you are not asking them to adjudicate it, just for the biometrics appointment.

Well I put in a service request and I'll try to reach a level 2 in the morning since theyre on hold for too long and its almost closing time.

How stressful to say the least
