Hey guys,

 

I applied for F2B and my PD is march 25th 2011. As the visa bulletin shows(July 2010), i am less than 9 months far from my PD date, but I did not hear from NVC at all by now! Does it strange? Should I receive any email or letter for paying fees and send any documents!!? I will be thankful if you can give me a hint. Also, I am living in USA base on my F1 visa! thanksss

I would give them up to September

 

I- 130 .... sent USCIS August 4, 2010 - Approved at NVC Jan 2011 received approval letter with case number and Id number

Welcome Letter..... Received Feb 23, 2016

Selected agent...Feb 25, 2016

Paid AOS and Visa Application fees.......Feb 26, 2016 

Submitted supporting doc......Mar 20, 2016 ( would have done sooner but had to wait on petitioners tax docs)

Case completed.....April 22, 2016 Received case complete letter April 27,2016

Received Interview Letter... Feb 3, 2017

Medical..... Feb 27,2017

Interview...Mar 20, 2017

Visa Issued....Mar 21, 2017

 POE.............June 4, 2017

SSN............June 12,2017

Green Card: August 2017

Petition for hubby: Oct 2017

i-130....... Approved.Aug 9 2019

NVC ......Wecome letter Nov 4 2019

Submitted all docs and paid fees- Nov 29th 2019

Hey 

 

You don't need to wait for any letter from USCIS(until by next month). 

It looks like the visa bulletin (AOS) the dates are 

F2B 08FEB11 08FEB11 08FEB11

 

You can file for your Adjustment of status and start preparing your documents for  ,AOS(485) ,Work Permit(765) and Travel document(131) (probably by next month)

 

That means you dont need to worry for your CPT ,OPT or H1B or even F1. 

 

Believe me , I was in the same boat and my interview is on 24th Feb this month.

May I know what is your priority date? So, you were on a student visa F1 and in F2B line! Same as me

!? It has been a long time AOS table did not change :(

Yes I came on F1(9 years back) and AOS through F2B same as you :)

PD 25th May 2010.

Dude, thanks a lot for your quick replay :)

As you mentioned AOS table shows 08Feb and mine is 25March! So, you think I should go to the nearest USCIS office and apply for change status! Or waiting till AOS get update and cover me?

Also, may i know what was the first time that you heard from NVC for send them document! I meant, already you got your interview time and it is 3 months before your PD, but how long before that you received first mail / email from NVC for documents! i want to know how much left to hear from them!

You don't need to go to any office.

NVC did not sent me any letter .

 

You need to file 485  ,765 and 131.

Please TXT me for more info.
