Hi all,

I'm a May VSC filer, sent I751 on 5/17, VSC received on 5/19. I received the bio appt letter yesterday in mail, appt date 6/24 (yay at least one of them), but I haven't received NOA1 for the one year extension. Called USCIS was told to schedule an Infopass with local office. Checked online, said there's nothing available.... I wonder if this had happened to anyone here recently (saw a few old ones), and what should I do for my next step? Not sure if they would take a walk-in.

Thanks very much for your time and advice!

No. You should have received your NOA1 letter a while back. Most likely your letter got lost in the mail. Trust me, I have received a number of mails (the latest being a car registration document from the DMV) in my mailbox addressed to a different address. USPS can be a big mess sometimes!

I saw another post from someone who had not received the NOA1, and whose Green Card was expiring in about two weeks. He also could not get an INFOPass appointment online - so he did a walk-in. They stamped his passport, and he was good to go.

If you are getting close to your expiration date, I would try a walk-in at your local ASC. If you still have several months to go, then try to get an INFOPass appointment.

Good luck!

Thank you! I opened an inquiry online and called them, spoke to a tier 2 who said my inquiry is being processed, and I should hear back before 7/2. My dl already expired, should I just try a walk-in? or if I should just wait for a response.. not sure if this would mess up their process.

Thanks again!
