Hey all

My case status with CEAC shows as Ready and has the same content as the Packet3 USEM email.

I have not yet received the USEM Email which I know is the Packet3. Is this normal, when should I expect to receive that or is it really needed since we already were able to schedule our interview?

Curious to know what everyone has gone through with this stage of the game :-D

Thanks all

Gary

You already have your interview scheduled, so you don't need anything else from the embassy. The embassy may or may not send the interview preparation instructions. Some people actually get it after the interview.

Here are the instructions from the embassy's web site: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/Instructions%20Packets/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202016_.pdf

I guess I should clarify this is for the medical exam. For the Philippines, it requires this:

Letter with Case Number

  • Principal Applicant - original & 1 photocopy
  • Derivatives - 1 photocopy each

If Letter of Case Number was received via email, print 2 copies for the principal applicant and 1 copies for each derivative.

Since I have not yet received the "letter", I was wondering if a screen shot of the case status in the Ready state was acceptable or not.

Thanks

Gary
