Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines

Event Description

Embassy Review : Process for Philippines is really easy and less complicated than what is documented. Once you have case# from NVC you can then schedule the interview, medical and fill out DS-160. My Fiancee went the next day her time and paid for the Visa fee and about 4 hours later she was able to schedule interview online and this was the day after we got NVC case #. We scheduled interview for about 3 weeks out minimum to make sure there was enough time for the case to get there. No packet 3 email or mail ever came to us, but we followed case status and when it became ready after in transit, we knew we were in good shape. This was all in about 3 days time so things move really fast at this stage. Medical was easy and quick and results are given to you at end of exam. Interview was security first(no CABLES, Cell phones or any electronics allowed) There are people outside willing to be paid 100 Pesos or so to hold onto things for you and will be there when you get out.
After that three windows where you give them the required documents(birth certificate, NBI Clearance etc etc), take finger printing then take oath.
After that wait for interview window to open up. You get to listen to the interviews as they are windows and right in the same room.
Interview itself takes very little time and if approved they will tell you.
Rating : Good
