Hi

I am filling out the N-400 form. Part 8 asks for employer name and work address. I am working for a consulting company that is headquartered in Jersey City, and I have worked on two projects for my employer, each time at a client location , one in New York City and one in Newark New Jersey. Under employer address, would it be better to put the client address where I was working, or my employer's HQ address?
As of now, I am planning to put my employer's headquarters address and also take an employer letter with me that states the clients I worked for and the client address information, would that be ok?

My husband had a similar issue. His firm was HQed in Seattle but he was working in various states in the SE. He put the HQ address and had now issues. His argument was - put the address that writes your pay cheque.

good luck

this is a very common scenario. you will put the address of the company'e head quarters or where ever the HR in the applicant's company is based so that the USCIS can verify the facts if needed.
