Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what the current soonest date you can schedule your interview at the London Embassy is?

Thanks!

Hi Sand1818,

When I take a look at the site that you use (as of 3rd May) to schedule your own interview the earliest available date is the 21st July. This is for my wife's visa which is a CR-1. Not sure if availability is any different for K visa.

What Tricked said is also true, I think the earliest you can book is 4 weeks in advance. The new online scheduling tool also allows you to request an expedited interview. You just have to enter a reason why you need it and send the request and I assume the embassy get back to you in some way.

Seems many people have been booking their interviews before they have completed their medical and just leaving at least 5 days between medical and interview to make sure the medical is at the embassy in time. Think that's def the quickest way to go. We waited until the medical was complete (6th May) then were unlucky and ran in to issues with the site when we tried to schedule the interview and by the time our technical issue was resolved (3 weeks later!) there was nothing in June and we had to wait until July for our interview date!

I'm wondering how it works for those of us for whom NVC schedule the interviews. Are there certain days or time slots reserved for NVC to allocate appointments from? I hope we don't wait longer because of this. My concern is that for the NVC employee that schedules my interview (when the time comes) there is no urgency on their part. It's not just/her interview and it's not him/her that has never green able to spend more than 3 weeks with his/her husband. If I could schedule my own, I'd be on to it the very second I was able to grab the very first available slot.
