Will a self cancelled visa stop my ex-fianc from travelling to the US?

I recently cancelled the fiancé visa request for my partner from the UK. He and a friend want to travel to the US for a holiday much later this year. Will the cancelled visa process affect him entering the country? And will this show up at Border Patrol to stop him from the netting th US for a 10 day holiday?

It could affect it. They might be suspicious about it and think you two might get married while he visits the US.

Tbh when I read your post, the first thing I thought was that he's coming here to marry you. I may be completely wrong, but if they can see you filed a k-1 then I would assume they'd think the same thing as well.

Are you together? Is he gonna state his reason for visit is to see you?? And finally did you cancel to marry when he arrives??? they will be wondering this im afraid...

You didn't cancel a visa. You cancelled a petition maybe ???

Two different CBP agents told me they do not have petitions filed on their computers. It could be there if he told them once and they made a note of it.

How far in the process did you get before cancelling? Why did you cancel? It won't necessarily be a problem, depends on the circumstance.
