WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just recieved email notification that my I-129F approval and our application has cleared NVC and has been sent to Bogota. First touch since Feb. 2, 2007. I was never notified by CSC that my I-129f had been forwarded to NVC. I am one happy camper!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got an email today from my lawyer. They have packet # 3 from Bogota, they are sending it to me. Man, I can not believe this. I sat and waited with no touch since Feb 2nd, nada, zip, now it is all happening in one day. We have all the stuff for Packet 3 ready. We should be able to have it to the Bogota Embassy next week or at the first of the week after. WOW!!!!!!!!!! I am totaly pumped!!!!!!!!!!!! It has not seemed real, I was getting bummed out. I have been worried about the interview since the beginning. LOL. For some reason, I am not worried about the interview now. I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay excited. Happy, jumping up and down, I could hug everybody. LOL>LOL. Somebody pinch me.

March 14, 2006.....We meet, spend the next 2 weeks togeather

May 2006............ I go to see Paola for 5 days and propose marriage

Jan. 24th, 2007....I-129F sent to CSC

Feb. 2nd, 2007.....CSC receives NOA1

June 6, 2007........I-129F Approved

June 6, 2007........Cleared NVC and sent to Bogota

June 12, 2007......I receive packet 3 from our lawyer

June 14, 2007..... I send Packet 3 to Paola via FEDEX (2 day delivery)

June 25, 2007......Paola receives Packet 3 (9 days late)

July 3, 2007.........Packet 3 Fedex to Embassy in Bogota

CSC seems to have a LOT of problems with notification, I already have my receipt notice from NVC and know from speaking to them that our packet is on the way to the USE in Manila, but I still have gotten no official notice of NOA2 from them...and of course the website/phone IVR say we are still pending. :wacko:

Just called the State Department (1-202-663-1225 option 1,0) and was informed that the packet 4 was sent out today, medical is scheduled for August 6th and the interview is scheduled for August 13!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance:

Congrats on Packet 4 being sent out! Are you saying that you can call the state department as opposed to NVC or the embassy to get information? I have my NVC case number already. Would be good to know since haven't been able to get through to NVC yet today...THANKS! Milena.

Yes, I called the State Dept. directly with my case number and got more info than I did when I called the Embassy....and it didn't cost me $18 (I have free long distance on my celphone...)

We called DOS as well and found out the interview date. They are more helpful than my embassy line as well, and just the call of a long distance phone call.
