Hi vj members. i have a question regarding my green card application, i came to the us on fiance visa last year in may and we got married in july and sent our Adjustment of status application the end of july we got case number on the 5th of august and went in the end of august did my biometric in charlotte NC office and two month later received my work permenant card. but since the 5th of august i did not hear nothing about my green card and i check my case and no update since then and now its been 10 months no update or nothing i am on texas service center charlotte NC office, i am worried and want to know if that is normal to wait that long with no updates or nothing or if they might lost our case or what. i would appreciate ur feeds on my situation please.

Check this website for processing times for your local field office: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

I didn't hear back for almost a year, so don't panic! You can always call USCIS to ask too.

thank you for respond, i already checked the uscis website and according to them charlotte NC office is processing the cases of november 2015!! and my case is 3 months before that in the 5th of august and didn't hear anything.

Your case would not be at the Texas Service Center. All family based AOS cases are sent to the National Benefits Center(NBC), which is in Missouri and the case numbers start with MSC. Your case may not be at your local USCIS office in NC. You could be one of the many cases that are approved without interview. Check out the AOS Progress Forum for threads about interview waivers and filers from your same month.

And yes, it is normal to wait 10-12+ months to be approved without interview.
