Do you send in evidence for when the spouse wasn't in the US yet?

We got married in July 2013 but she didn't get approved for the cr1 visa until August 2014 and she entered the US in September 2014. Do I need to send in evidence for the time we were married but before she enter the US yet? Not a lot of financial evidence because no banks or companies would let me add her without a social security number.

I think you're good as long as you show lots of financial evidence since she's been in the US. I think most CR-1/IR-1 applicants are in the same boat. I know my wife and I are in a similar situation. We're making sure we are accumulating a lot of evidence now, despite the fact that we were married for 16 months prior to her arrival. The only financial evidence we have prior to her arrival was health insurance. I needed to put her on my health insurance on January 1, 2015 (and paid for it!) so that she could enjoy the benefits of it from July to Dec 2015.
