Hi. Another question..If Manila have my case file. Are they gonna send us the list of requirements to send to NVC? Coz they say that the requirements has to go to the NVC first and check it then forward it to the embassy if its ready and complete? Or should i wait for Manila's notice or letter and see what thay say? Coz we have not submitted any requirements yet.Now im worried it will take long?

NVC is done, you are case complete and your case file was at the embassy in Germany correct? Then when the case file reaches USEM you will deal with USEM requirements.

I expect USEM will be contact you regarding an interview date, watch your email. Also once the case file status show it is READY at USEM stay in contact with the embassy (I gave you contact info earlier )

Yes, it was at the US Consulate Germany. They were asking for my requirements (packet 3) but unfortunately we dont have enought time to send it because we will be leaving soon and thats why we requested to transfer it to Manila. We are still holding on to our requirements and wait until come home and wait for what the USEM is gonna say or need.

Yes, i read the requirements again and i think we are good. But is it ok if i dont provide police certificate from here even if i spend almost 2 years here in germany? Coz they only give police certificate if you are a citizen or in their system. So nbi from Philippines is just okay?

Make sure to get the Police Certificate from Germany... REQUIRED! I don't think that is correct about only citizens getting them

Each person over the age of fourteen may obtain an individual certificate of conduct. The application can be made verbally by personal appearance or in simple written form to the registration authority at the following addresses mentioned below. Former residents of Germany, no longer registered in Germany, can apply for an individual record through the German Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence, or directly with the Bundeszentralregister in Bonn. The application form is available at the German Embassy/Consulate, or directly from the Generalbundesanwalt beim Bundesgerichtshof Dienststelle Bundeszentralregister. Personal appearance: Besucherservice, Adenauerallee 99-103, 53113 Bonn. Their office hours are Mondays - Wednesdays: 7:30 - 16:00; Thursdays: 7:30 - 15:30; and Fridays 7:30 - 14:00. Written requrests may be sent to: Der Generalbundesanwalt beim Bundesgerichtshof, Dienststelle Bundeszentralregister, Sachgebiet BZR 32 - Internationale Rechtshilfe, 53094 Bonn.

The fee for every certificate of conduct is €13. Payment may be made by remission of a non-negotiable check or bank transfer to the following account of the "Bundeszentralregister" - Deutsche Bundesbank, Bonn Branch, Sortcode: 380 000 00, Account no.: 380 010 05; IBAN-No.: DE24 3800 0000 0038 001005; BIC/swift-No.: MARKDEF1380. Fees charged by banks for the redemption of a (foreign) check must be added to the fee for the certificate of conduct.

Processing time - minimum of three to four weeks. More detailed information about downloading the application form and payment of fees can be obtained directly from their website.

So, we really need to get a police certificate then. We better do it right away coz we only have a few weeks left here. Do they send it to Philippines too just in case we are not here anymore?

Yes you need to get it done. If you want it sent to the Phils you better make arrangement for that when requesting the police certificate.

You need a police certificate from Germany, not the U.S. military
