1) can the fiance visit the States while the visa is pending?

i actually spoke with someone at USCIS and she said it was ok but i wanted to know if anyone has done this

2) do they still issue EAD at JFK?

Neither. The EAD issued at JFK is an ink stamp placed on the I-94 by the CBP officer, no application required. One may have to ask for it if the CBP overlooks it.

Yes, the EAD stamp at the POE is only valid for 90 days. We have to apply for an extension EAD when filing for AOS.

thanks! i think i got it now, its strange as the person i spoke with at USCIS didnt know about the temp stamp and a friend who is an immigration lawyer wasnt familiar with it either so i was so confused
