Hi all...

My receipt date is May 9th 2016, still nothing. I am not worried quite yet but if I haven't heard anything by Christmas I may start too!

We moved address back in July back in July and I used the original receipt number when changing address not the 2nd one issued on biometrics letter. I called and they said both numbers could be used and I did get a confirmation email saying my address had been changed so I'm guessing everything is ok.

I'm hoping we don't get an RFE but I am slightly concerned because there are items of evidence we do not have. Basically my wife is the main breadwinner in our family and she earns a hell of a lot more than me. I'm a session musician (sigh)... She pays the majority of bills etc on her own. Anyway, I still think our list is fairly comprehensive.

Joint tax returns for 2014 and 15

lease contracts for apartment with both our names for both years

Car loan with both our names for the car I got when I arrived in the US

Both names and address on registration of such vehicle

Me as beneficiary for wifes 401k

Me on wifes medical insurance and life insurance

Joint current account (little activity as this is used as a odds and ends account)

Contract with Universal Studios for annual pass

Claims made by myself on wifes medical insurance... dental etc

Travel itinerary with both our names

Lots of photos spanning 10 years...

And maybe some other stuff I cant remember

Fairly comprehensive but the only concern is that it is a bit one sided with my wife in control of most of it. But that's just the way it has worked out and we're perfectly happy.

Thanks for listening guys.

And here is a breakdown by month.

You can see how many cases they approved by month.

You can see once they start approving cases there is a peak and then it continues approving cases slowly for another 2 months or so.

Funny enough the peak is exactly at 6 months wait time which USCIS estimates on their website.

Thanks for your sharing.

We just wait to look the new updates in any single day. I cannot guess anything until today while I am going to school in Spring 2017 (Jan ).

I do hope everything will be already. I know the officer in USCIS Vermont Center they are busy to have many things to do.

May God bless them!

You filed the same day I did. We are at 6.66 months wait so far.

If you look at my previous posts the approval times range from 6.66 to 7.5 for most applicants.

So you should wait another 25 days before you are outside the statistics.

I'm in no rush so will just wait on it. I can start citizenship in February anyway and that will automatically trigger a response anyway. That said it would be nice to be done by Christmas.

To apply for citizenship, is it:

(90 days) - 3 years + ("Resident since date") on the conditional GC?

Which is basically the same filling early window as ROC date, but add 1 year to it??

Technically it's 3 years from date on your GC if you entered to marry a USC (5 years otherwise). I guess as we're all ROCing then that applies. But you can apply 90 days before that date.

It's unbelievable how the entire week passed and only 1 person from may got approved. wow.

Only 1 person here on VJ. I am sure there were more approvals at the CSC for people that applied for ROC that are not on VJ.
