Hello

I have lived abroad in various contries for 20+ yrs due to my job. In the year 2000 I applied for a K1 visa for my girlfriend of 1 yr while I was living for 3 yrs in Russia. We went back to the US,but broke up shortly after, and she return to Russia before the 90 day period expired. Forward to 2005 I moved to Colombia , South America, where I have been living for the past 10 yrs. I married my then Colombian girlfriend in the US in 2009. She had a US tourist visa at the time, so we decided on a vacation to the US,to get married, had a child together and for the next 3 yrs lived back and forth between the US and Colombia. We seperated and divorced in 2012. For the past 1 1/2 years,I have had a new girlfriend whom I've lived with for the past 8 months. We are interested in a K1 visa. Will there be any problems applying for one again? I know it might sound fishy, but its been 16 yrs since that 1st K1 visa which ended with her going back to her country (before the 90 day period) and my 1st and only marriage ended over 4 yrs ago.Thank you for any information

They may ask questions about your previous relationships, but nothing is stopping you from filing another I-129F for a K-1. You only have one previously filed I-129F, so you do not even need a waiver with this new petition submission

I don't see a problem. Just be open about the past relationships and send the divorce decree. I had a similar issue when filing our k1 last year, at some point in the i129F they asked about the date my husband ex fiancée left the country and the alien number of that petition. He wrote a separate statement explaining what happened (it was 15yrs ago) the approximate date when she left the us and her full name. We did not have a problem.

Good luck.
