Hopefully will be able to get my Georgia DL tomorrow but i seen somewhere that Ga dont recognize an EAD as proof of legal resident. Is there any otger way I can prove i am legal. I have applied for AOS from K1 which gives ne status while it is pending. Of course i have a feelong staff in the GA office wont know that

2016 April 6th EAD and AP Approval

2016 April 12th EAD Card received, No AP on it, Rang USCIS

2016 June 10th Green Card Arrived
2016 June 10th Filed i90 for Error on Green Card
2017 Aug 21st Replacement Green Card Approved and In Production 1 year after applying. Done with USCIS till ROC in early 2018
2018 Mar 6th Form i-751 sent off to USCIS in Vermont (Removal of Conditions)
2020 Sept 25th N-400 Application files
2021 July 20th Interview and Test for N400 Citizenship APPROVED 
2021 Aug 6th Oath Ceremony

2021 Aug 21st Passport Appliedfor
2021 Sept 15th Passport in Hand
2021 Sept Journey at an end after 6 years from our K1 approval to Citisenship

Hey BillyG, try visit DDS in Acworth off of Old Hwy 41 (it's next to North Cobb High School). I've got information from here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/589092-georgia-drivers-license-investigation-on-ead/

Rem to bring 2 proof of residence bills.

I attempted the one at Forest Park when I had I-94 non expiry during K1, and EAD after was rejected and to suggest to wait till green card, luckily green card arrived. You should totally try other branches, many georgia filers tried it and got their DL from EAD. Its actually written on their DDS driving magazine, try showing it to them.

29 December 2017 - I-751 Priority Mail shipped to VSC

2 January 2018 - Package delivered

8 January 2018 - Check cashed in

11 January 2018 - NOA received (DATE of NOA: 3 JAN 2018)

22 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

30 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment

11 August 2018 - 18 Months extension received (Exp on Sept 2019)

8 April 2019 - I751 Approved

12 April 2019 - NOA and greencard received

Thanks, went to the one in Dekalb, went through processing only to be told at end my EAD isn't in the system so it's being bounced upwards. Have to try again next week after I call them.
