BTW, Jacque, kind of off topic, but remember the conversation about the "well rounded education" and what they are teaching nurses? So here is but a partial list:

History, Art History, Geography, Writing.....and here I thought that is what middle school and high school were for? That is nothing but a way to waste their time and money. It's called NURSING school.

Apple has been at the bottom of the heap here forever...just an accessory...not to be used by any serious person .

My wife always gets the latest Iphone. I think we are on 6splus. I look at it like getting the latest handbag. If it makes her happy it's ok. She doesn't understand my Harley thing.

But I digress. They all run the same IOS and apps so I don't get the big deal. However she plays bubble crush in style

I understand the new Samsung is waterproof. Now that intrest me, but no replacement battery .

About to get my third iphone soon. To answer why: because it's faster. The only thing better than a fast phone is a faster one. My current phone doesn't have enough space, moderate performance, decent pics. The new one is better in all counts. Company lets us swap out a little more frequently than every two years.

We're on our second ipad and I think it's terrible for the money. It's a decent device, but when I compare it against a kindle costing literally 1/10th the cost I wonder why the heck I bothered with it. I don't see myself buying another apple tablet until/unless they get their prices down and that requires them to let go of their savage margins.

A big problem is that most of the people we know have apple devices and for the rare times we facetime one needs an apple to do it.
