Hi All,

I filed my petition I-485 on January 22, 2016, I-130 approved December (2014) (married to LPR) adjusting status from F-1 (Currently on OPT extension).

I received RFIE for original birth certificate as i only submitted certified english translation (They asked for home country foreign language certificate).

USCIS received my RFE response on March 17th, and my EAD/AP was approved within 10-days (Already received the combo card :dancing: )

I'm worried about my RFE on I-485 now as there has not been any movement since RFE response (Website still shows - RFE response review).

Can anyone here tell me approximate timeline after RFE response - how long does it take for USCIS to schedule an interview? (My priority date is 22 Dec 2015)

Thanks!

You can review my timeline.  We got an RFE on the I-485.

As long as you know they received the response that is good.  Processing time from there will depend if your file is sent to the local field office for interview OR if it is kept at NBC with interview being waived and decision of greencard/production done from there.  So no one can give you a definite time frame as there are many variable factors. (Adjudicator work pace, local field office processing times, NBC processing times, etc).

I was stressed about it, but now I am glad we were chosen for interview.  It made our process go much faster.
