question on sending 129F copy to Fiancee

After you receive the NOA2 and the fiancee is waiting on Packet3 why does the K1 guide ask you to send a copy of the 129F to your fiance along with the Affadavit of support?

Does consulate not get a copy of entire I-129F filing from NVC/USCIS?

The consulate does get the packet. I think the line of thinking for sending the copy to the beneficiary is so they can be familar with everything that the petitioner filled out in their portion.

Yup its a just in case thing, just so they are familiar with everything. The embassy does have the orgional packet but its just for the offchance they need to see something origional from you.

Sort of what I was thinking. THEY(the gov) already approved the 129F without any RFEs. My SO is chinese, I have already emailed her a copy the (how we met part) and a copy of the NOA2 I received.

I don't want to weigh her down with more paper just for the heck of it. I have a plenty of doc to send her just for the 134 Affadavit.

How much more proof do you need of an ongoing realtionship ? I was just planning on sending emails and updated letter of intent. We do not talk on the phone very much since we both like emailing because of time difference and lanquage. I proably will not travel back over there until I pick her up
