This was on the radio yesterday, sort of also explains why this issue can not be dealt with, you can not deal with something you can not discuss.

Awwww I get it. Let's talk about Chicago because it has a demographic you guys love to discuss without the input from others but never gun problems as a whole because it might drag in a demograph you are from and then you might be offended. Got it

The truth of the matter is, men commit crimes the most. Bottom line. Men kill, men commit mass murders, rapes, molestation, etc. You want one group profiled and your ok with it as long as your not included.

Then let's go blame single _______ mothers. Hey, the guy who killed all kindergarten kids came from a two parent home. Your logic is flawed.

Then we say, gun restrictions don't work. However, only cities that are like war zones have the strictest gun laws. No one has yet to answer the question. Is this a way the government has insured people in these areas are killed off innocent and criminal? Innocents can't protect themselves because the gun laws and the criminals don't care about gun laws.

Again, why are gun laws the strictest in places that need guns?

It's because they don't care if they kill each other. They want those places to wipe themselves out, no matter how many innocent people are caught in the crossfire. They've disarmed the GP and let the animals that roam there free reign without any consequences.

So if you know this. I'm confused as to why you stand for some of the tones taken against minorities. We know there are good and bad people in every race. Children can't help where they are born. Kids brave walking the highways to get an education rather than walking through their neighborhood because they want to advance and succeed.

I like these discussions, but I don't like one sided discussions. Nothing is wrong with discussing an issue if you want to explore all variables, dependent and independent which make the collective issue. And not only is it minorities but what do these people have in common? Their poor. It's also classism. Let the criminals kill each other and the innocent poor

What's the point? The folks there to protect you shouldn't be the ones killing you as well. They're a part of the problem. Unless you see nothing wrong with shooting someone 16 times while they're already incapacitated and then hiding evidence for over a year?

Don't think for one second the cops don't know who the criminal elements are in those neighborhoods. They simple don't care. Something we've said over and over again. We know how to address the problem, the problem is, if we start talking about EVERYTHING(laws that are written to negatively affect poor/minority specifically, cops who couldn't care less/getting paid to look the other way), folks don't want to talk about it. These criminals are helping them by killing each other and killing the poor. And let's keep it real, being poor in America is the equivalent of being a criminal to some.

The wife just added a thought. Why we never hear about cops killing drug lords? Or some gangbangers that were terrorizing folks? Cops killing folks but not the criminals. There would be no outrage if cops killed some drug dealers, killers, gang members, etc. You never see headlines reading, "COPS KILL KNOWN HUMAN TRAFFICKER, KINGPIN OF CRACK, ETC."But it always seems to be these random people with misdemeanors or even worse, nothing at all. They even killed a black undercover cop RECENTLY, FOR A HOLSTERED GUN. Neighborhoods filled with crime, and you can't shoot a drug dealer? I can go home and find those dudes in 5 minutes, the cops still looking for them.

Being poor here in the US is considered the worst thing you could possibly be.

So far this year there has been *one* death by a police officer in Chicago (a man that was holding a family hostage after a home breakin) There have been over 150 non-police killings. so 99.5%. Massive steps have been taken to make the police more accountable, police have been fired and retrained and more and more of them are wearing body cameras. Police shootings are way down.

Shootings by the rest of Chicago's residents are up - way up. When will the community care about the other 99.5% that are being killed by their neighbors?

When the community has to work and make changes to solve a problem its not worth it to them. When somebody else has to make a change it's worth burning down the town.

Some stricter gun laws would help after awhile but nationwide laws. Local gun laws do practically nothing. In a city like that pretty much anyone can buy a gun for a couple hundred bucks right off the street.

And yes, address the root issues, maybe better education in those areas and more help with finding employment, etc.

You must favor sending the undocumented democrats back to their home countries so folks in the inner cities can find work ..
