It is supposed to be by mail, but just to update everyone, ours never came. What worked for us though was printing off screenshots of our case being updated on the CEAC website. My fiancé showed them the same update with 2 different dates and they let him go in for a date. This was on March 16th and our interview is on April 6th!

Please I'm realizing we have to help our fellow Ghanaians by making post on our experiences so can you make a post about this please...What to do to if your call in letter never comes and this would be something you do after waiting for 2 months and over for the call in letter . So happy for you ! And good luck we are two days before you so will fill you all in, in detail :-)

The letter was sent to me in the US and I just emailed it to my fiance in Ghana. Our letter took about 6 weeks from the date it was sent to the embassy. When we called for the case number at the NVC level they told us the date it was mailed out and gave us the case number so we can check on the ceac website. Also there was a posting on visajourney on how to track on the DHL website. If you go to the search box and look for DHL tracking it will give more details.

What did the screenshot say? Did it say case ready? That is what mine says right now...

A&O did you also do this to receive the call in letter? Or did you get one by mail?

How long has your case been at the embassy so far ?

It has almost been there for 4 weeks now.

Krboes, it did say case ready, but for the "case updated" time we showed that it had two separate dates.

MrsGrant

Yea mine shows March 16 as the status updated date, and Feb 22 as case created. Do you think they would let us schedule an interview with that proof?

You can try, but what worked for us was having 2 separate documents showing that the update date had changed. Everyone has those two dates, but not everyone has had their case updated. According to the NVC, when the date changes that means they sent the letter. You can call them and they will confirm that the letter has been sent.

How far apart was your date from when the Nvc sent it to Ghana? What were your two dates? I know the letter was sent on the 27th of February to Ghana. So I assume the 16th of March is an update date.
