Hi ... I have some questions about CR1

My husband and I got married 3 weeks ago in Egypt. I am reading instructions for how to apply for visa cr1 and i need help with a section.

I am a US Citizen but I don`t have address in the United States now - what should i write in this part ?

I moved to Egypt to live with my husband.. can i be sponsor for my husband without having a house in the US currently?

Thank you so much,

Michelle Halvorson

yes but you will need to take steps to re-establish your domicile so I hope you didn't cut all your ties to the USA.

You write your current legal address wherever it calls for the USC address.

The above post is correct. You need to have a place in the US in order to get the visa.

That part of application process exists because when they grant you and your spouse a visa, they want you to have an established place to live - and not be homeless or living with government assistance.

A close relative or your parents might be able to serve in this.
