We have a question regarding my fiancé' children. Will she need her ex to sign off so the children can travel to the USA for our wedding? She has full custody.

How does this work. She and the children are from Belarus.

Usually a written and notorized letter by the other parent to authorize the child(ren) to leave the country is required. Check your country's laws. Sometimes they can be very strict on this issue.

This very much depends on the country of origin; even if one parent has full custody, often written permission is required for kids to travel abroad, be it to live or visit.

If she has full custody, are the kids not immigrating with her on K2s?

Ok we know Belarus doesn't require written permission to travel. So the USA won't ask them for it in Miami when they arrive so all should be good. At least it seems....

Thanks for all the responses. Please if I have miscalculated anything please correct the record.
