While I am waiting for my CR1 interview, we started to think about our timing for entering the US and we have a question we cannot find answer for on the web.

After I (=beneficiary) will get my visa, I am planning to travel to the US with my wife (the US citizen petitioning for me).

She will have however to come back to Europe to finish her job (which has a quite long leave notice - while I'm thinking of moving there asap for a job prospect of mine) and stay here in Europe for a few months more, before coming back to the US for good.

Would that be a problem? Would she/we have to show anything at POE to prove that she is re-establishing domicile in the US?

Is there any official page describing any requirement related to this situation? The travel.state.gov page (https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/immigrant-process/interview/after.html) doesn't even mention the fact that the petitioner and the applicant have to travel to the US together (but I think we read it somewhere - even though I cannot find anymore)

Thanks for all the suggestions / links!

The only requirement is that thr petitioner enter or be in the USA at the same time or after the beneficiary.

It is important to think about time apart because of the removal of conditions if the beneficiary has a CR1 visa. But a few months shouldnt be an issue.
