I just want to share the packet 3 I have received from US Embassy in Bahrain therefore if any of you will apply a Fiance/e visa, you can start gathering these documents listed below. I have received this thru e-mail.

You will need to visit the following website for more information.

When you have all your documents please send us an e-mail and we will tell you when you can come with all your documents. You will also have to pay a visa fee of U.S. $ 265.00 at Citibank and after that we will fix a date for the interview.

· You will need to fill out the DS-160 on the computer and submit it.

· You will have to bring 2 photos 2 inches by 2 inches.

· Original Birth Certificate from the Philippines.

· Original Single Certificate from Philippines.

· Divorce Certificate (If applicable)

· Original Police Certificate from Philippines (NBI).

· Original Police Certificate from Bahrain (Criminal Investigation Directorate) CID.

· Medicals to be done at American Mission Hospital if you plan to take your K-1 visa in Bahrain

· If you have lived in any other countries after the age of 16 years you will need to obtain police certificates from all those countries.

(Police certificates are valid only for one year).

· You will also have to submit and Affidavit of Support (Original signature). Your fiancé has to fill out the I-134 and submit supporting financial documents. He can send all the documents to you and you can bring it along with the other documents.

How to Obtain Birth Certificate/ Single Certificate/ Police Certificate from Philippines:

Birth Certificates

Applicants may obtain birth certificates at any NSO branch for a small fee. Relatives in the Philippines may obtain these documents. The NSO can also provide an index of all children born to an applicant.

The site accepts credit cards issued in the U.S., Japan, Europe, Australia, and Hong Kong. There is a flat fee for each document of $20. The fee includes shipping by courier to the delivery address abroad.

A certified copy of a birth registration (less preferred) may be obtained from the local civil registrar at the place of birth. Local Civil Registrar records are often incomplete and it is often necessary to augment local birth certificates with baptismal certificates. “Affidavits from two disinterested persons” are generally considered unreliable but may be useful in cases where pre-war records are not locatable.

Frequently, certificates for births occurring since 1946 may also be obtained from the National Census and Statistics Office (NCSO), at the NSO East Ave, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. Certificates of birth before 1946 are maintained at the National Archives Division at T.M. Kalaw St., Ermita, Manila. Issuance of a birth certificate takes approximately five working days, for which there may be a fee, plus an additional fee if issuance is to take place within 24 hours, or if the document is to be printed on special security paper.

Marriage Certificates

Available. Marriage Certificates are available at any NSO branch. Procedures are similar to those for birth certificates. CDLI endorsements (see birth certificates) apply to marriage Certificates also. These documents are available at any local NSO branch for a fee

Foreign-born applicants who have resided in the Philippines for six months or more may be issued NBI clearances upon application either in person or by mail. Applicants residing outside the Philippines should send requests for certificates together with money orders or bank drafts for the fees and postage to IRD-Mailed Clearance Section, National Bureau of Investigation, Taft Avenue, Metro Manila, Philippines. Philippine Embassies abroad can assist Filipinos in obtaining NBI police clearances. The NBI has its own fingerprint charts and personal data forms that it will send to the requesting applicant for execution. Most applicants abroad find it more expeditious to have a relative or friend in the Philippines assist them in obtaining their certificates from the NBI. In that instance, a letter of authorization is required. The applicant may also submit a copy (“personal copy”) of a prior NBI clearance to facilitate the processing of a new clearance. Posts are advised that not all arrests and convictions occurring outside of Manila are reported to the NBI. NBI’s criminal records database is not foolproof and the remarks provided on reports require explanation.*Manila and major Philippine cities have computerized records.

How To Obtain A Bahrain Good Conduct Certificate:

Police Record

Available. To obtain a Bahraini GOOD CONDUCT CERTIFICATE, write to: General Directorate of Criminal Investigation (CID), P.O. Box 26698, Manama, State of Bahrain. The letter should contain a request for an application for a "Good Conduct Certificate" (Form PS/CID/6) with a statement explaining that the certificate is needed for immigration. Applicants should complete and return it to the CID at the above address along with the following:

· Two matte (i.e., non-glossy) photographs;

· A photocopy of the first four pages of the applicant's passport;(where all the biographic data is mentioned)

· A photocopy of all previous Bahraini residence permits;

· A letter from the applicant's current employer indicating that they have no objection to the applicant's departure.

If the applicant is living in Bahrain, the CID will schedule an interview, during which the applicant will be fingerprinted. The certificate is usually issued within 3-5 days after the interview. Records are somewhat unreliable prior to 1967. There is a fee for this service of Bahrain Dinars 1.000 or U.S. $3.00 for this service. Checks and Bank Drafts are not accepted.

Applicants no longer living in Bahrain should follow the same procedure and provide the same documentation. However, they will also have to provide a set of fingerprints taken by local police in their country of residence.

If there is a Bahrain Embassy where the applicant resides, the can contact the Bahrain Embassy to complete the necessary formalities.

Note: Certificates are not issued for holders of visitor's visas. In order for CID to issue a Good Conduct

Thank you for sharing this information. We have received our NOA2 through email on 28 May 2019 that our case was approved on 22 May 2019. We are just patiently waiting when to receive any update from NVC for the case number. Is there any advise you would like to give like tips to make things faster?

Complete the Packet 3. Go to american mission and complete the vaccinations needed.Ask for yellow book so you can show this to your Doctor who will do the K1 Medical exam. Complete the following:

Prepare the following for the Interview

1. ORIGINAL - FORM I 134 Affidavit of Support - https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-134.pdf?download=1
2. Photos together with your Fiance, pls write on the back of the picture when and where the photo was taken
3. Copy of all the documents you sent to the USCIS and send it to your Fiance

You may need all of these on the interview. The US Consul will ask you if you have all of these, you may schedule the interview to them. They will ask you when is your availability for the interview. Bring cash as well for the fee.
