Just wanted to say hello to the Philippines section. Rea and I got our NOA 1 today and it will be processed in California. So, here we go with the waiting game and I will begin getting the documents ready for the second phase.

Wait 10 business days, call the NVC and get your MNL# and start the race to the finish line. They will not contact you. This is the best time to take the bull by the horns and start the next steps. One of your other posts I gave you additional information. That information will save you a lot of time.

Thanks.

All you are waiting for is the text message that your case was approved witch is what is referred to as the NOA2. 10 business days after you get the text message that your case has been approved, then you call NVC to get your MNL#. Details on this process are at my website. You will call from the States, she will do nothing at this time. Once you have the MNL# then she begins doing everything that is in the Embassy Letter that Hank referred you to and you will also find the link on my website.

NVC phone and instructions are there.

I think if you go and read, you will have all if not most of your questions answered. It's really straightforward.

I'm actually reading stuff on your website and it really helps..and to clarify also.since we are waiting for the notice of Approval (NOA2) hard copy which will indicate the instructions that my husband needs to do, is he going to send another set of paper to the USCIS? And as you mentioned that I can call NVC to ask for my MNL case number after 10 days of getting the email that our case was approved right??

You do not need to wait for the hardcopy of the NOA2 because you can be waiting for weeks for it to arrive and it is not needed for you to begin processing in the Philippines. Yes it will come and you will have it for your records but if you wait for the hardcopy you will be wasting valuable time. Yes, you call after you receive your text message. Count 10 business days from that message and then begin to call. If they don't have your case number set up they will tell you to call back in 35 days. That's a pad answer. Just ignore it and call again the next day and the next day till you get your number.

There are no additional papers going to USCIS until he is in the States.

This is the step you are on now on http://dennyeyberg.wix.com/filipino-am-visa#!second-step/c1cay. Work your way down the "NVC to USEM" tab to achieve your visa from my website.

He needs to be gathering the paperwork needed for the interview and the instructions for that are in the Embassy Letter. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/1178798/feb2015/K1-K2%20Applicant%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_February%202015_.pdf
