Need help with filling out N400 question 4 and 53

Hello everyone,

I'm confused about two questions on form N400 and not sure how to answer them. I'm not descended from nobility, such as Duke, Thane, Earl, Prince, King, Lord, or related titles, that exist in many societies.

Part 11 question 4

Do you have, or did you ever have, a hereditary title or an order of nobility in any foreign country? Yes or No

Part 11 question 53

At your naturalization ceremony, are you willing to give up any inherited titles or order of nobility that you have in a foreign country? Yes or No

To question 4 obviously I'm answering with No. But for question 53 I'm confused. I'm willing to give up but I don't have any? if I select no than I'm not willing to give up?

And to add to the confusion part 16

If you answered “Yes” to Part 11., Item Numbers 4. and 53., then you must affirm the following before a USCIS officer:

Saying "no" to question 53 would mean that you are not willing to surrender titles of nobility.

Assuming you have no titles of nibility, you should answer No to question 4 and either skip question 53 because it does not apply to you, or answer Yes to question 53 since this indicates that you would be willing to give up any such titles if you held them. It's up to you; you can explain at the interview, but answering No is definitely wrong.

The last question: "if you answered yes" to both of the other questions. You didn't answer yes to both this questions so don't answer this question as it does not apply to you.

Wow, thanks! I totally missed that note. So is this only exception where its o.k. to not answer a question?

I was under impression that every question needs to be answered otherwise application can be rejected.
