Anyone figure out how to get CBC in the US?

I can get that... I want the actual Toronto TV channel. Right now Bondi Vet is on. I don't want the news or those little video clips.

if I go to cbc.ca site, click the "Watch" button and click on the small down arrow on the right side. Then Click "Live Streaming" it gives what appears to be live video - if that's not the live feed then I guess you are out of luck going through the cbc.ca site

I watch a whole lot of Radio-Canada, and it seems to be pretty much the same as the CBC - I tested just now...

Log on my (Canadian) VPN

http://www.cbc.ca/television/ - right of the page: It was showing Montreal Change [changed to Toronto to test]

Then - http://www.cbc.ca/player/ - clicked on News 6 Toronto Live

Next step for me is to cast to my TV.

If you live that close to the border, have you tried pulling in any Canadian stations with an antenna? In Vancouver, we could get all sorts of Seattle channels over the air, don't see why that couldn't work the other way round?

Also, CBC seems to post shows online the same day the air... Looking at the list of tv shows, both the ones you've mentioned are on there already-- full length.

I've had Canadian co-workers who brought down a Canadian satellite dish just for hockey night in Canada, they still used a Canadian billing address at a relatives , but it's an expensive way to go about it.

Hmm, I may try the antenna idea. I do have an older tube TV that would be perfect for that.

Bringing down a Canadian satellite is an awesome idea! Congrats to them... the way I feel right now that sounds worth it!!

I'm missing my Hockey Night in Canada so much. Miss the Canadian commercials. And yes even the curling!!

http://www.cbc.ca/player isn't the actual TV feed. I can get to everything on the CBC site and I already have VPN, I just can't find any subscription to the actual TV channel. No live Hockey Night in Canada.
