Hi,

I'm currently on J1 visa and I live with my host family. I'm gonna get married soon and wanted to ask someone - I'm filling out the I-130 with my fiancé and there are two questions about living together.

A) Address in the US where your relative intends to live. - we still don't know where are we gonna live together, could I put the address of my host family? Because that's the place we are gonna live until we get something together. Is that ok?

B) If filling for your spouse, give last address which you lived together. - we haven't lived together yet. Do I just leave the space blank? Is that ok?

Thank you!

1. that is fine. Your interview for AOS is likely several months away, so by then you will have some proof of living together, either with that family (but bills addressed to the two of you etc), or in a new place together.

2. It is best to not leave anything blank, as they may think you did not see/ did not want to answer the question. But n/a or "none" as appropriate.
