You still have a long way to go.

What they are referring to is the website (CGI Stanley) you will be using to make interview appointments, the actual page you get to make appointments cannot be reloaded more than ten times a day; but we learned that you can refresh at the home page as many times as you want, when there is an appointment date available, it will show up.

Anyways, you will understand when you get to that point. Good luck! :D

The whole process takes longer then necessary in MHO. Every single Chinese K1 goes to Guangzhou embassy GUZ. and I guess they dont bother to up the number of VO to take care of USC needs. Waiting for an appointment for over few weeks is ridiculous and make other couples apart for mroe unnecessary time, given that the process to reach appt making time is already 3 mths. Then we add another 1-2 more waiting months. sighhhhhhhhh

welcome to the club...

I find it mildly annoying that I cannot pay my government (albeit their office in another country) the visa fee with my bank, and I have to make my Fiancee pay the fee, or wire her the money to pay the fee. The money is not the problem, we both have more than enough, it's just the fact that they mandate a Chinese bank.

I totally agree. I just xoom her $3000 USD one time and she learnt how to use the internet and basically pay everything for the process.... what to do... I believe the chinese gov wants their local firms to benefit from banking restrictions.

Question to the GUZ applicants here, my Fiancee has issues with the postal service in her City not delivering mail, 90% of the mail sent through China Post never arrives, but packages through a courier service, or through a big box service (fedex, ups, dhl) always arrive. So with that being said, we have our GUZ number. Does anyone have a copy of the P3 requirements that need to be submitted to the Embassy.

We are currently working off of a copy I found in an older post, I just want to make sure that nothing has changed.

Thank You,

nothing today... again... the "help" at cgi gave the best answer "maybe in a few days or sometime?" as to when there will be more. it sure would be nice if they could at least hire english speakers to answer questions.

Nothing today either.... maybe after CNY. What a bottle neck for CR1 and K1. Shouldnt there be a class action law suit for accepting payment and not delivering the service ie the appointment ?? lol

I wouldn't expect anything to open up on Saturday or Sunday, because the Embassy is closed. They are open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. I would start checking again in 12 hours.
