Hi,

My mother got her GC through me. She entered US on Nov 3rd 2015. I paid her GC fees on August 24th, 2015. We did not receive the GC so far.

My questions are :

1. How to check the status of Green Card production on-line ? [i paid fees online and now I seem to have lost track of how to check the status]

2. When I called USCIS National CS line : 1-800-375-5283, I am literally lost on which option to choose to reach right agent for my question ? [i chose a random selection after lost through selection maze. The representative tells me that I can not follow up on my GC card production. That she has to call USCIS. Is it true.]

Thanks,

You can call the USCIS and ask about the status of your GC. If it's in production they will tell you, if there is something wrong they will tell you, and if its mailed out they will tell you. But most likely they will say give it 30 days and if you didnt receive it call them back. I received my GC 8 month after entering the US and I had already paid the fee before traveling.

The immigration process caused me PTSD.
