Hi there:

I applied for a K-1 Visa for my fiance, he is a German citizen.

I sent in the application on February 23, 07 and the post office shows it was delivered on February 25, 07.

When I read everyone's posts it appears they got a notice stating it was received much sooner. Did the TSC send it to them.

Since Texas doesn't show wait times for the I-29f does that mean it gets sent away (first I have heard of this)?

Also where did you find where all of these acronyms are? NOA1 NOA2 RFE.......

I need the glossary to marrying a foreign guy!

2-25-07 Online PO shows package delivered

3-06-07 NOA on I-129

3-12-07 Touched (I think)

6-8-07 Touched appropriately!

Yes, TSC sends it to CSC (in California), because Texas no longer processes the I-129F.

My fiance is from Germany too, and things are going really smoothly for us, so good luck!!!

Also:

NOA1 - 1st notice from USCIS (received petition)

NOA2 - 2nd notice (approved petition) from USCIS

RFE-request for evidence

Yes we remeber wondering all those same questions. NOA is "Notice of Action", and has been stated here, are the I-797 forms that you will recieve when your K-3 visa is approved (I-129F) and Non immigrant petition, (I-130) is approved.

Often the notice of the approvals lags behind the movement of the petition, that is just the way that they do things. Eventually though everything comes together and you have an understanding that they really are working for you to get you the visa you want.

Hang in there, it's long and stressful, but Oh how much it is worth it.

Thanks Everyone.

The guide is great, and I have actually read it but now it makes more sense (I read it prior to the application). Hopefully I have done things in the best way possible. I must agree, this is the best, most informative site and group of people I have found.

I didn't use a personal check, I sent a PO money order, thinking I would not have to worry if it takes time to cash so I can not see that online to get my number, I must wait for the mail man.

Thank you!
