Sharing as it might help those who are planning to submit their CRBA application

My CRBA/Passport Timeline.

My husband is USC and we had our twin daughters on August 16, 2015. Both of us were around during the interview. We were the first one to be interviewed by the Consul on that day and we got approved.

October 31, 2015 - sent documents to secure appointment via LBC

November 4, 2015 - we received email stating that December 16, 2015 is our date of interview but we rescheduled it on December 28, 2015

December 28, 2015 - CRBA appointment - Approved (no DNA testing needed)

Steps as I can recall:

- Pay Passport and CRBA fee (Window) 12

- Pay Air21 Courier

- Initial submission of documents is done at Window 8 (they will verify all the documents submitted - might be asked to come back on the same window if they need to ask more info)

- Interview by the Consul

- our babies were crying so loud inside the interview room so we only had a quick chat with the Consul and it got approved - like plans after the babies, where did we meet (husband and wife) etc

Documents submitted

- DS-2029 and DS11

- All of my husbands PH and US passports

- All hospital documents including bills

- pictures of us together and with the babies (hospital pictures included)

- twins' NSO birth certs

- my passport

- Church wedding invitation

- Marriage Cert from Civil and Church Wedding

- Boarding pass from our travels

- Joint Bank Records

- 2 x 2 pictures as required

January 18, 2016 - Received CRBA and passport via Air21 right by our doorstep
