Fiancee is needing to obtain her birth certificates, from ecensus.com, for preparation of when they will be needed. My question is how many should she obtain? For those who not seen my name around, we still not have NOA2, so that tells you where we are in the process. So, she not had interviews, medical, police clearance, etc. Nothing. We need to know how many are needed now and into America without having to order more later.

As well with CENOMAR copies.

Suggestions?

Thank you.

I would recommend entering the US with at least 3 ORIGINAL NSO BC's. Copies will probably be useable and only show original to US agency, but if they want to retain the original best to have plenty available. The cost is relatively inexpensive in the overall process so more would be advisable even if never used. I can't remember how many were required for our CR-1 process.

CENOMAR are not required for anything in the US but probably best to bring 2? Again can't remember how many originals were required in the PI.

For both, CFO, USEM, SLEC would probably need one each.

I agree with brassballs, you need a few extra copies for once you are in the USA.

You need one (1) for the interview, you need to bring one to CFO along with a copy, CFO will keep the copy. The rest pack in your luggage.

CENOMAR; one (1) for the interview, one for CFO along with a copy, they will keep the copy.

Here is what Chinook accomplished in the U.S. with one original birth certificate:

Marriage

Adjustment of status

Removal of conditions

U.S. citizenship

U.S. passport

State ID card

State driver license

Report of marriage to the Philippines Consulate - San Francisco

Reacquired Philippines citizenship

Philippines passport

Private sector job

Federal government job

Note: North Carolina is under the jurisdiction of the Philippines Embassy in Washington D.C. They do not require an original birth certificate in order to report your marriage.
