Hi guys, yesterday was my interview and i got approved!! oh god, finally!

Now, i wanna know how long it will take na mag change yung status sa ceac?

Hi arrabernardo, did you get your visa already? If yes how long did it take? If not, how were the updates on the status on CEAC site?

cases may differ in the process of issuance...

Mine was ready- open on the same day of my interview. after 2 days it was on AP. Then the next day it was issued- 4 days from my interview. I received my passport / visa packet 8 working days from my interview. Some says it was fast for a K1.

Another K1 who was interviewed on the same day as me had her visa status - issued 10 working days from interview. So just continue monitoring your case at CEAC, it is normal to be on AP for awhile.

Yea, I seen that comment. That's why I was asking arrabernardo if she got her visa already so I could at least compare it. I even seen an old post saying that k1 visa release is quicker for those who have children or are pregnant, not sure if its true though.

Guess I am overly excited. Have been checking ceac site since last night. Lol

Didn't expect it too much but my visa has been 'issued' on the CEAC site!! Was pretty quick.

26 was my interview,

27 it remained ready

Then in the afternoon of 29 it went to Administrative Processing and then in an hour or 2, it turned to issued!!! Now waiting for my visa to be picked up from 2go though on ustraveldocs it still says that my passport is still with USEM.

Has anyone here had an interview last January 19 and received their visa packet? We were approved and status changed to issued last January 20 and we haven't received our visa packet. We tracked it on ustraveldocs and 2go and it returned invalid.

Should we be concerned about this and contact the embassy?

Hi, I think you could call USEM or maybe 2go as well. Maybe it is with them. Did you opt for a delivery at home or pick up at 2go branches? You could also check it on 2go's tracker just in case and the tracking number would either be your MNL number, passport number or the UID on your appointment confirmation as what I have been reading on other posts.

Well, just done with my interview this morning. The process was sooooo quick though maybe it was cause I was in the priority lane with the senior citizen and those with children.. Anyway, everything was smooth. This site and everybody has been very helpful. Its great that I was aware that k1 don't need to fall in the very long line outside the embassy from what I have read on blogs and reviews. Just make sure to always specify which category you are and what visa. Its not harmful to ask, they'll be willing to assist you.

Thank God and the universe, my visa was approved!!!! The next waiting game will be when my visa will be issued.

11 months of waiting! From February 26, 2015 til today, January 26, 2016, with all the delays that we had. Finally heard the magic words that everyone has been wanting to hear, Approved..

I got mine on a Saturday so it is possible that you can get your visa packet on weekends )

I got my visa packet today and it's Saturday. So it's true they deliver on weekends. Thanks everyone!
