I-130 - Forgot to include statement by translator

Hello everyone,

I've just send in my I-130 form and supporting documents for my wife, got the acceptance e-mail this week.

We both live in Québec and a number of documents are in French (including Marriage Certificate and bank statements to show bona-fide marriage), so we got a certified translator to make the translations. We also send in copies in French of all the documents, so we included both the copy in French and the certified, stamped translation in English.

Despite double- and triple-checking the documents, I just saw today that we are also supposed to include a statement form our translator, which we did not.

The translations all have the stamp from the translator, who is certified member of the Translator's Order. So basically they look pretty darn official. But obviously we are missing the statement itself.

So first question, how bad is this?

Second question, is there any way to anticipate on the RFE and send in this statement right now? I am afraid this oversight will delay our application quite a bit. Currently I don't have any kind of application number, so my gut feeling is no, this would not help, but any tips are appreciated.

Is it an option to re-submit the whole dossier with all supporting documents (and somehow get them to trash the original submission) or is that also a no-no?

Any insight on similar situations is appreciated!
