Hello I am a US citizen and I am in the process of trying to bring my wife over from overseas. We have sent in every information we can, although now, I am getting doubts since my name attached to my case with USCIS is one thing while my name on my passport, which I provided due to RFE that we met in person, is spelled different (specifically my first name, last name is fine.) although the difference is minor, I just hope they do not deny since the name is different attached to my case and the passport I issued. I have sent in my information last week and confirm the USCIS has received it earlier this week, so now we are waiting for further decisions from USCIS. Any advise or thoughts regarding potential outcomes??

Thank you,

What are you filing for? You posted in the K-1 forum and speak about an RFE for meeting in person, but you also say your wife.

As to the name difference, if you went by another name, it should have been listed under other names used, or you could have provided an explanation as to why your name is different on your passport.
