There are many people in AP. It can be for several reasons missing documents, back ground checks, etc. AP can take weeks, months, or even years.

Why do you think interview was successful?

Did they take your passport?

Did they say approved?

Did they send packet back to USCIS?

If K1 comes back to US, it is not worked on and they allow it to die

my friend in Morocco is in AP since JUne 2009

his gf plans to come and marry and reapply for CR 1 same as we did

I wish this does not happen to you
