Hey everyone, with anticipation of receiving the NOA2 I'm gathering everything I'll need when we receive the approval reciept. Proof of on going relationship has me a little confused. When should I start collecting? Should I start printing stuff from when I sent the first petition packet? Or when we first started talking and just sending tidbits.

So far I have 2-3 screenshots of Skype call logs for each month dating back to April when we first started being very serious.

If I receive the NOA2 before the new year will it count against us if I wait until I receive this year's 1040? And w-2? As Philippines requires 125% for Affidavit of support, made over 125% but this year I made significantly more. Thanks everyone.

ongoing relationship evidence - chat logs, call history, emails, pictures together, letters, cards. Just a sampling since you met is adequate.

You have upwards of a year to complete the visa application, there is no issue waiting until you have file taxes. Once you get your NOA2 it will still be upwards of a month before you will have your MNL# and a few weeks past that before USEM will have your case file.

Most relationships follow a normal evolution....the getting to know you stage, then maybe planning the meeting in person, then the more serious stage, then talk of getting married, then the visa process itself, then planning for the move to the US and then talk of life in the US and what plans need to be made and what will be done. Your evidence should contain snippets of all of these stages.....so just the evidence is all about quality and content and not quantity.

No

As Philippines requires 125% for Affidavit of support, made over 125%

Then you are good to go.

but this year I made significantly more.

No extra credit for making more, you just have to meet the requirement.

Appreciate it, most of the things you've mentioned about ongoing are discussed over cam, i.e our call logs, anyone know a better way to sift through Facebook messenger so don't have to constantly scroll up and wait for previous message to load

How would I go about printing the messages off? Just copy paste onto word document?

Not worried about income requirements just want to us this year's as I can't find last year's w_2 and the 1040 is only a copied file, has my social number and address will that suffice?

Then you better start using communication medium that allows saving the content. You have to prove to a total stranger, the Embassy CO, that you have a legitimate relationship. Proof that you talk a lot is not enough.

That will work. Needs dating.

No, just order the free IRS Tax Transcripts. Do it today. They are way better than the tax forms because these are the official IRS "receipt" of your submittal.
