Doing AOS; How Do I Get My Minor Son Here? [split topic]

hi,

I have a question about my son who is currently lives in the philippines. I just came here last july this year and i am currently on process for my AOS, i came from dubai and my USEM was in Abu Dhabi.

My question is how can get my son? what are the procedure i need to follow? he's 6 years old now, and he already have a case # in Abu Dhabi.

  • 03.21.15 -- I-129F Filled
  • 03.27.15 -- I-129F Notifications
  • 03.24.15 -- NOA1
  • 04.30.15 -- NOA2

Is he in the Philippines now? Was he included in the 129f when you applied for yourself? If so, where is his packet now Philippines? Abu Dhabi?

You need to contact the embassy in Manila (USEM) have them request the case file be moved from Abu Dhabi to Manila.

You need to contact the embassy in Manila (USEM) have them request the case file be moved from Abu Dhabi to Manila.

Yes your son will complete the same process as you. Follow the embassy instructions letter for Manila, some items are age related

Many thanks for this. :) ]I have another concern ? he already has a case # in USEM Abu Dhabi, all we need to do is to wait for the advise Manila embassy if they received already his visa or already transferred to them before we did his medical right?

He will use the same case # issued in Abu Dhabi at USEM (U.S. Embassy Manila). The case file will be transferred from Abu Dhabi to Manila (once requested) this can take a month or two, then you can get the interview scheduled, complete the medical and so forth.
