Hello

My fiance got the K1 visa along with the sealed envelope. But the envelope got stolen from his car. The embassy has no copies and they would not tell us what documents we need to resumbit. What can we do? And what documents are needed?

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Did you file a police report and get a case number? Do you have a copy of the entire I-129F package that you sent to your Fiance(e) for the visa interview?

No its been 2 weeks since it got stolen and my fiance lives in Lebanon so he cant do anything about it. Unfortunetly I don't have a copy of the I-129F. Should I refill another form ?

Have you contacted the US consulate yet?

You probably need to re-send those forms that were submitted during the K1 visa interview.

Yes, my fiance contacted the US consulate and yold him that he has to resumbit all the documents. Should I resumbit our photos as well as with the other documents ? And is it Ok if I refill the I-129 ?

You don't have to refill a new I-129F.

Just bring whatever forms / documents that you did for the K1 visa interview before.

You probably need a new police certificate, medical exam report (DS-3025), which you might need some time to get.

Check with the US consulate to see if you need to pay a new K1 visa fee or set up a new appointment.
