Would it be okay for me to make multiple different copies of this for different friends and family to sign and send with my i130? Or should all the letters look different?

There is no need to write a long essay, unless you feel you need to do so. Include what uscis wants to know, that you guys live together and love eachother etc. This is the EXACT third party affidavit I sent with my I-130. I just changed the names lol. I was approved without any RFE's. Remember less is more!

Evidence in support of a bona fide marriage between MINNIE MOUSE, Applicant, and DAFFY DUCK Beneficiary

The following is to certify that I, MARY POPPINS, residing at the above noted address, born on March 26, 1966 and bearer of the passport #*****, have known MINNIE MOUSE since birth, and have been aware of her relationship with DAFFY DUCK since the beginning of their courtship. They are a very loving and caring couple and will have a great family one day when they are united in the USA. I attended their wedding and signed as a witness on August 23, 2011 and it was very special for both of them. This affidavit is being made by me for the purpose of assuring the U.S. government that the persons named above have a true and loving relationship that was entered in good faith, and is not for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws.

Any questions please feel free to contact me at 555-555-5555

Sincerely

MARY POPPINS

**Moderator hat off**

Affidavits carry little to zero value in the overall evaluation of a file. Focus on evidence of time spent together in-person, that is your strongest evidence. If you do decide to include affidavits, they need to come from people who have interacted with you both as a couple on some level.

Hi AH88,

My husband and I provided affidavits (3 of them - his mother, his aunt and my sister), but we also provided a lot of other proof of bona fide marriage.

I think that if you provide affidavits that all look like the one that you pasted, then they really hold zero value.

The affidavits that we provided were all quite personal; our family members wrote all the dates and circumstances of the situations when they witnessed our relationship (but all the affidavits were just 1 page long). As another proof we also added photos that corresponded with the situations that the family members wrote about in the affidavits (for example, my husband's aunt wrote in her affidavit about how she and her husband visited us in Poland, so we provided photos of her and us and my family members from that visit).

My husband also provided an "Evolution of relationship" letter, where he wrote the story of our relationship that incorporated all the facts that were mentioned in the affidavits from our family members.

I think this way the affidavits hold a tiny bit more value than zero, but still not much.

Jan 2, 2016 - DS-261 submitted

Feb 6, 2016 - DS-260 submitted

CONSULATE:

Apr 26, 2016 - medical exam

May 10, 2016 - interview at the Embassy in Warsaw, Poland - result: APPROVED!
