Hello everybody. Really need help here. My fiance (US citizen) works 15 months. My interview scheduled on Dec 7 2015. For the interview we need W-2 and 1040 for a year (2015 we can get only in feb 2016). But he started working since Sep 2014 so he has 1040 and W-2 only for 3-4 months. Also he has all pay stubs for all 2015 year. The question is: will it be enough?

Current income is what matters. If he can get a letter from his employer stating his income, and that he has a permanent position, and then have a few pay stubs to support it, that is good enough.

Good luck!

James

James you just made my day!

He has the letter from his employer (it says how long he works there and how much he earns per hour). He has all stubs for all 2015 year. Thank you so much!

W-2s are only obtained once per year and state the employee's annual income for the previous year.

He has pay summaries or pay stubs. Submit copies of three to five of those and a letter from his employer stating his annual salary and that he is presently employed. That will be enough.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

Thank you for your answer!

He has the letter already but it says how much he makes for an hour (and it says he works full time)...is it ok?

And yes he has all pay stubs.
