Need help with priority date

Hi

I have now seen priority date many times.

But how do i read that and where do i see more info about it.

I can see i have a priority date on my NOA1 (I-130) but thats just the same day as they got the papers.

My I-130 was approved 2015-10-29, and i have seen ppl around that day where the case is at NVC.

You think it will be okey if i start calling them today/tomorrow or do i need to give them a week more ?

If the petitioner is a USC, you don't have to worry about the priority date.

My husband, the USC, got our case number and IIN from NVC about two weeks after our NOA2. I got the info a week after my husband. So if you have NOA2 October 29th, you should probably give it another week before calling.

Yes my wife is a USC, same are my kids.

Okey, i will give it a week more.

That will also give a more time to get all papers rdy also.

Hate when i dont have control, but thats how it is now.
