hello guys, can you please help me about this? My brother has a case completion date of 10/20/2015 under f2b category ( Dhaka Bangladesh) with January, 2009 priority date which is current right now. Any idea how long is it going to take for him to get scheduled the interviews. It's been a month since the completion date.

There is no way to tell you. Every embassy has a certain amounts of slots of each visa category. All you can do is just wait sorry.

Since nobody answered my question, I'll ask again....

For my wife's interview, can we bring a copy of the affidavit of support OR does she need to fill a new one out? Because it says on the website it just needs an original signature...

Corrected and printed the one we sent with AOS (no RFE). Signed and gave to spouse to take to interview. Was not asked for.

Hi... I was under the impression one needs to have an interview date before requesting an expedite.

I think you are thinking f requesting an earlier interview date. Which is not an expedite. The whole purpose of expedite is to get through NVC faster and get a interview date soon as possible.

Yes, a black suit. And he does have a solid blue silk tie. I've been looking for the recommendation on the web for the tie color which makes you look more trustworthy, but I didn't find anything.

Yo are putting way to much into something that really doesn't matter No color makes you trustworthy. Just don;t have a red tie. Follow the examples of world leaders. Blue, Blue Blue. They only wear red when its about to go down and get ugly.

You want to be comfortable and free at your interview not concerned with OMG do my colors make me look honest. They aren't checking out your color skim. They want to know if you are a bonafide coupe in a real marriage with evidence to prove it.

Not sure what to say about what happened. The positive: my wife's passport was kept. Unfortunately we had to send a document we were supposed to have but had a snafu. I think they should receive it Monday.

It sounds like the interview was short and went smoothly. I will follow up with more details about interview. I heard quite a few had their passport returned to them.

Also it sound like one popular question for the day was "what made you think about dating your husband". My wife said she heard that used more than once.

So we are in AP.

First waiting for 3 na/s now waiting for the third na to change to paid since someone said could happen if an interview is scheduled. Too scare to call nvc too many times

Sorry don't have a sample for expedite. It's tailor made to each pesons situation. State your case the reason for expedite and back it up with evidence.

Hello My fellow VJ members, just an update after dropping off the necessary documents on the 10th. It was stuck at

"READY" until the the 17th....on the 18th it changed to Administrative Processing. On the 19th very early in the morning, less than 24 hours it changed to "ISSUED"????. I Give all Praise to God. He will try and pick it up on Monday.

whats the differnce between the ir1 visa and the cr1 visa ?????

IR1=10 year green card because couple was married 2 years or more at time of POE

CR1= 5 year green card( Conditional) because couple was married less than 2 years at time of POE and will have to ROC(Removal of Conditions) starting at 90 days of the 2 year green card issuance.

I randomly checked CEAC tonight and wow to my surprise, it says issued!

Wow! This journey is soon to be over!
My husband picks up passport with visa in it on Tuesday the 24th, and he flies out the 29th to arrive into my arms on December 1st!!

A question to guys: what color tie is the best for the interview? )))))

We've been checking my husband's wardrobe to pick the best outfit for our big day, and, since I am wearing a business suit, he should look formal too.

Well for me...I had my husband wear my favorite shirt. it is also a shirt he considered his lucky shirt.

The dress shirt he wore...was a combination of my favorite color (blue).

It is also the same shirt he happened to wear during the first time he met my parents thru Skype.

So...making it personable..yet professional...would be my suggestion.
